Monis Yousuf
I'm Monis - a software architect and educator. Most recently, as Head of Engineering (Transaction Monitoring & Screening) at Klarna, I built transaction monitoring, anti-money-laundering (AML), and fraud management and detection systems. I've also helped Klarna and many other organisations structure and define their architecture and system-design interviews to enable them to hire the best engineering talent across 600+ interviews and calibrations. I've coached engineers into Engineering Manager, Staff, and Principal roles.
I teach system design, distributed systems, and how modern AI is infused with classic software engineering - mostly on my YouTube channel, where I break down complex concepts for curious software engineers - helping them land a role at their dream company.
